Leitheatre is an amateur theatre group based in Edinburgh. We currently produce 3 full length productions per year, including one as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Our Festival Fringe production was "A Wee Touch O' Class" by Rikki Fulton, from 2nd-16th August at St Serfs Hall, Clerk Road
The production is now finished, we played to record audiences, with all but 3 performances sold out!

Our next production is "Tunes of Glory" on 12th-15th November at the Church Hill Theatre.

In addition, several shows celebrating the work of Robert Burns are performed each year in our Burns Show.
Next year, 2009, is the 250th Anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns. We already have booking for Friday 24th and Saturday 25th January, so if you want to book the show for your Burns Supper, or would like more information about the format, please contact our Secretary, Don Arnott on 0131 552 4845 as soon as possible!.

We also take part in the Scottish Community Drama Association (SCDA) One Act Play Festival. The Edinburgh District round was  held in St Serf's Hall, Goldenacre, on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th February 2008

Please take some time to look around the site, find out  the history of the club and discover just which plays we have performed since 1946.
